UC Irvine Environmental Health & Safety

New faculty are expected to maintain a high level of health and safety in all their activities and assigned spaces.  Faculty are also required to follow stringent environmental protection regulations to help maintain the quality of life in Southern California.  UCI staffs a department of over 40 environmental health and safety specialists to assist faculty to achieve and maintain environmental health and safety excellence.  If you are not familiar with the specialist who can assist you, your first contact should be the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator for Physical Sciences.  Many problems can be quickly solved, questions answered and resources obtained through the coordinator.
