Technology Innovation Incubation

The National Science Foundation is inviting grant applications for the Innovation Corps (I-Corps) program, which aims to give project teams with previous or existing NSF grants access to mentoring and funding, in order to enable them to accelerate innovation that can attract third-party funding. The outcome of the I-Corps projects will be threefold: 1) a clear go/no go decision regarding viability of products and services; 2) should the decision be to move the effort forward, a transition plan to do so; and 3) a technology demonstration for potential partners.

DEADLINE: The submission windows are April 1 to June 15, July 1 to September 15, October 1 to December 15, and January 1 to March 15. See link below for additional dates in 2012.  Beginning in August 2011, a webinar will be held on the first Tuesday of every month to answer
questions about this program.
